We are excited to announce that John Gunderson has joined the US Lighting Trends team as a new senior contributor.  John brings over 25 years of senior leadership experience in category management, sales, marketing, pricing, and analytics, having worked with industry leaders such as Crescent Electric Supply Company, HD Supply Power Solutions, White Cap Construction Supply, Anixter/WESCO, Modern Distribution Management, and EIS-INC.

In his new role, John will not only be optimizing our marketing strategies and helping drive our advertising initiatives but also contributing his unique insights to our editorial content. His extensive background in B2B distribution and his deep understanding of the industry will provide invaluable perspectives, particularly from the distributor’s viewpoint.

John’s expertise will help us create content that adds value to lighting manufacturers, specifiers, and project managers, focusing on topics like complete submittals and value engineering support. His articles will offer practical strategies to help our partners hold specifications with contractors and maximize their project outcomes.
