Happy Retirement wishes are in order for Nora Lighting’s longest-serving employee Carol Dimaano, who joined the company in 1996.

Initially employed in the accounting department, Dimanno was promoted within one year to Warehouse-Traffic/Logistics Manager, where she served until her retirement. Her sister Mila Leyva, who worked in the company’s Human Resources Department and was one of Nora’s first employees, introduced Dimaano to the job she loved for one-quarter of a century. Combined, the sisters spent 48 years at Nora.

“Individuals like Carol Dimaano and Mila are the backbone of Nora Lighting,” said Jilla Farzan, Executive Vice President. “Carol’s loyalty, professional skills, and pride in her work have helped make Nora the successful lighting company that it is today. Our entire team will miss Carol, but we all wish her health and happiness in her well-earned retirement.”

At a special company event celebrating her retirement, Dimaano was presented with a corporate plaque that read: “In recognition of your outstanding performance, dedication, and excellence. Thank you for your years of service.”
