Nearshoring America Expo in Dallas Releases Event Schedule

Next month, the inaugural Nearshoring America EXPO takes place at the Dallas Market Center (DMC). This new international trade show is designed to facilitate nearshoring production services for gift, home furnishings, lighting, and fashion accessories companies. The event will be held from December 9-11 and will connect brands and their representatives with vetted factories and supply chain service providers from Mexico and Latin America. Attendee registration is now open at the Nearshoring America website.

Here is the schedule of events occuring during the show: 

Monday, December 9

·         Exhibit Booths Open | 9 am – 5:30 pm (Monday – Tuesday) TM 1 – Atrium
The Nearshoring America Expo will bring together a unique and symbiotic mix of business partners. A list of exhibitors has recently been announced including three prominent pavilions:

  1. CISBRA (Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services), representing a diverse range of Brazilian businesses
  2. COFOCE (Coordinadora de Fomento al Comercio Exterior), an organization based in Guanajuato, Mexico, promoting international trade opportunities
  3. ABILUX, showcasing nine companies representing Brazil’s finest in lighting manufacturing and design

The show floor will feature a uniform presentation of each participant showcasing their production and/or supply chain services capabilities and each exhibitor will be prepared to immediately engage with attendees regarding terms and conditions of product development and production.

Attendees at the EXPO will include importers of gift, home furnishings, and apparel accessories seeking OEM product sources, project manufacturing services, and full-scale product development partnerships. Registration is now open for attendees on the Nearshoring America website.

In support of the expo, a Nearshoring America INDEX has been created that includes an exclusive and vetted list of 300+ manufacturers, sourcing agents, and supply chain service providers organized by country. Finally, a Nearshoring newsletter is currently being distributed that includes background, research, commentary, and timely topics for the business of nearshoring.
