Santa Fe Springs, Calif.-based Espen Technology – a leading manufacturer of indoor LED retrofit lighting products – has announced that it has 295 models of DLC V5.1-listed indoor retrofit products on the DLC Qualified Products List (SSL QPL), as of June 19 — including both DLC Standard and DLC Premium items.

The products fall into four DLC categories:

  • Linear Replacement Lamps (T5, T5HO, T8, & U-Bend; 2’, 3’, & 4’)
  • Indoor Retrofit Kits
  • Four Pin-Base Replacement Lamps for CFLs
  • Indoor Luminaires

Products with DLC listing are required to qualify for roughly 80% of the prescriptive utility rebates for LED products in North America.

“With the transition from V5.0-listed products to V5.1-listed products, we’re finding many distributors and contractors are struggling to find retrofit products that they need, with V5.1 listing,” noted Flemming Jensen, Espen’s Senior VP/Sales & Marketing. “Espen is ready to help with almost 300 models of V5.1-listed products on the DLC SSL QPL. We expect the number of Espen V5.1-listed models to continue to grow.”
