New Leadership at Current After Hubbell Merger

Following the news of the completed merger between GE Current, a Daintree company, and Hubbell® Inc.’s commercial and industrial (C&I) lighting business come leadership changes. The new appointments for the combined company affect its offices in Greenville, S.C., and Cleveland, Ohio.

Current Chip TaylorLighting veteran Chip Taylor has been appointed the Chief Commercial Officer.

 

 

 

The business units at the core of the company will be led by:

 

Current Tom Benton

Tom Benton as Vice President & General Manager/Fixtures, including the recently acquired Forum business;

 

 

 

Current Jason Sherrill

Jason Sherrill as Vice President & General Manager/Controls & Software, including the NX and Daintree platforms;

 

 

 

Current Dan PhalenDan Phalen as Vice President & General Manager/Growth Markets, including Lamps, Roadways, Signage and Horticulture

 

 

 

Current Joe CeninJoe Cenin will expand his role as Chief Supply Chain Officer to now include the acquired facilities in Juarez and Tijuana, Mexico; Christiansburg, Va.; and Plympton, Massachusetts.

 

 

 

Current Jim FarrellJim Farrell, previously President/Hubbell Lighting, recently rejoined the company as the Group Chief Financial Officer of the combined business.

 

 

 

Current Courtney AbrahamCourtney Abraham will lead the development of people resources as the Chief Human Resources Officer.

 

 

 

Current Tom BoyleTom Boyle will take on the newly created role of Chief Development Officer, where he will lead the company’s development and integration efforts.

 

 

 

Current Mark WardMark Ward has been appointed as Vice President/Business Transformation entrusted with Performance Excellence.

 

 

 

Current Mark Leclair

Mark LeClair will lead the digital-connect efforts as the Chief Information Officer.

 

 

 

Current Inger EckertInger Eckert will be the General Counsel.
