Philips Hue, a Signify brand, has launched its first generative AI-powered assistant in the Hue app, delivering personalized lighting scenes based on mood, occasion or style. Available in 2025, groundbreaking features and accessories for Philips Hue, revolutionizing how users illuminate, entertain and secure their homes. The assistant lets users type or speak commands to create the perfect ambiance, with feedback features ensuring continuous improvement.

Feel Safer with Philips Hue Secure

Philips Hue Secure integrates cameras, sensors and lighting for seamless home protection. New features include:

  • Smoke Alarm Sound Detection: Receive instant alerts and activate navigational lighting during emergencies.
  • iOS Widgets and Voice Control: Access live camera views or schedule system settings directly from your device.
  • Enhanced Compatibility: Stream live camera feeds to Amazon Alexa, Google Nest Hub and more.

A new 3-meter USB-C power cable (USD $19.99) offers greater flexibility for camera placement.It will launch in the U.S. and Canada in March.

Immersive Entertainment on LG TVs

The Philips Hue Sync TV app now supports LG TVs (webOS24+), offering dynamic light synchronization for all content, from streaming apps to gaming consoles. Previously only available for Samsung TVs, the app (USD $129.99) supports formats like Dolby Vision and 8K for unmatched immersive lighting experiences.

More Options in North America

Philips Hue is also expanding its portfolio in the US and Canada. The Datura ceiling panels (starting at USD $299.99) are now available, and the Impress outdoor lights (starting at USD $159.99) will debut in mid-February.
