New York-based Leviton has promoted Randy Mortensen to Executive Vice President (EVP) of Global Distribution Sales and Marketing. In this new role, Mortensen will drive Leviton’s go-to-market strategy, focusing on providing greater customer reach, capitalizing on the demand for electrification and technology, and concentrating on the expanding data center category.

Since joining Leviton in 2020, Mortensen has drawn on his over 25 years of industry experience to drive the globalization of Leviton’s sales and strategies. He expanded the strategic account and specification teams to a global scale, while also restructuring the European sales teams to capitalize on growth opportunities in targeted verticals and regions. These efforts have enabled local, personalized, and structured support to Leviton customers worldwide.

“Randy’s leadership will be critical as we continue to execute our enhanced business strategy, ensuring we are agile and responsive to both our customers’ needs and evolving market dynamics,” said Daryoush Larizadeh, Leviton President & CEO. “His strategic vision and focus on emerging markets will be invaluable as we position the business to meet the significant growth opportunities and to build what’s next in the electrical and network infrastructure sectors.”

He added, “This strategic appointment reinforces Leviton’s commitment to building the next generation of innovative and sustainable solutions, enabling our customers to thrive in a dynamic marketplace. In partnership with our newly appointed COO of Electrical, Bob Becker and COO of Network Solutions, Ross Goldman, Mortensen will play a key role in ensuring Leviton is set up to service its customers in the way they want and need.”
