RAB Lighting Develops High-Output CRX Commercial Downlights

CRX commercial downlight

RAB Lighting has unveiled its latest product – the High-Output CRX commercial downlights. This new line of downlights offer powerful illumination and versatile features for a wide range of commercial applications.

Available in 3″, 4″, 6″, and 8″ diameters, the CRX downlights are ideal for both new construction and retrofit applications. These commercial downlights allow users to change both lumen output and 5 color temperature with the flick of a switch, offering the flexibility to customize various areas with one fixture.

The CRX LED family is designed with an off-board driver that minimizes installation height, eliminates the need for a j-box or recessed housing, and makes it ideal for shallow plenums with limited installation space. It’s also IC rated for direct contact with insulation.

CRX has a diffuse polystyrene lens that creates smooth, uniform light and reduces glare without sacrificing lumen output. All models use a 120-277V driver with universal dimming* and produce 90+ CRI for the accurate color rendering often vital in commercial applications.

All models are airtight and suitable for use in dry, damp, and wet locations, making them perfect for both indoor and outdoor use.
