LEOTEK Updates GreenCobra® Color Temperature

LEOTEK

LEOTEK has added a 2200K and 2700K version to its GreenCobra Series streetlights. With the addition of the 2200K and 2700K color temperatures, the GreenCobra Series streetlights now provide a nostalgic ambiance reminiscent of traditional HPS lights. This ensures familiarity and ease of transition for communities accustomed to the warm glow of traditional lighting.

Different environments call for different lighting atmospheres. The 2200K and 2700K options cater to residential areas where a softer, warmer hue is preferred. Whether it’s illuminating neighborhood streets, pathways, or parks, this option adds a touch of warmth and optical comfort to residential landscapes.

Color temperatures 3000K and below, available for the GreenCobra Series, meet the standards set by the International Dark Sky Association. By minimizing light pollution and reducing glare, these streetlights contribute to preserving the natural beauty of the night sky, making them an environmentally responsible choice for communities worldwide.

In addition to the expanded LED color temperature offerings, the GreenCobra Series of streetlights has been upgraded to provide a wider range of lumen output. Collectively known as the “4432”, the GCJ4, GCM4, GCL3, and GC2 have been re-engineered with higher lumen output while retaining the familiar form and size of previous models.

The 4432 strikes a harmonious balance between affordability, efficacy, and lumen maintenance. With this innovation, customers gain a new option for their projects: increased lumen output within a downsized housing. This translates to reduced project costs, enhanced versatility in applications, and a notable decrease in the demand for raw materials required for larger housings, paving the way for a greener future.
