Q-Tran Promotes Gean Tremain to CEO

Connecticut-based architectural lighting manufacturer Q-Tran has promoted Gean Tremaine to the position of CEO. According to the company, “Gean has been instrumental in Q-Tran’s growth, most notably spearheading the introduction of LED lighting into the company’s product offering. He is excited to continue to push the company forward by fostering continuous improvements in all areas of the business.”

Added Tremain in a post on LinkedIn, “This milestone has me reflecting on when I joined Q-Tran over 25 years ago. At that point we had 6 employees building the power supplies you all know and love. A little over a decade later I got the crazy idea to introduce linear lighting to our offerings, which is when things got exciting.”

Tremain continued, “Among the numerous achievements at Q-Tran, a few stand out. The first is building a team of team of employees who are the best of the best. Collaborating with them led to the company launching remarkable products like Q-CAP, VERS, MICRO5, PERI, and the list goes on. Finally, having the opportunity to work alongside many dynamic agents and specifiers in our industry, including many that have become my close friends, is something I’m very grateful for.

“Looking ahead, my focus is set on innovation in our products and elevating the customer experience to new heights. We’re gearing up for some announcements this year that will surprise you,” he said.
