Light & Health Online Courses Are Filling Fast

Proper lighting design is an important component of the health and wellness movement and the Light and Health Research Center’s (LHRC) is offering two online professional certificate courses in September that address those topics.

Recent research indicates the global health and wellness market was valued at $5,243.3 billion in 2022 and is expected to reach over $8,945.3 billion by 2032.

Increased consumer awareness regarding health and wellness products and services, rising government expenditure on the development of sophisticated healthcare infrastructure, and people’s desire for healthy and active lifestyle are important factors that are driving the growth of the global health and wellness market, according to Precedence Research.

In addition, the sedentary lifestyle of consumers and the increase of various chronic diseases such as asthma, blood pressure, diabetes, cancer, arthritis, and various mental disorders are other drivers of this category.

The Light & Health Research Center’s interactive educational offerings will be led by LHRC faculty and staff who are the foremost experts in their fields. Courses begin in September, and registration for the classes will close soon.

Dan Frering, the LHRC’s education program director said, “We have designed these two online courses to provide information that will help professionals in lighting and related occupations to gain cutting-edge knowledge and advance in their careers.”

The 2023 educational programs include:
